Location data: We collect your device's precise location to match riders with drivers, provide navigation, and track trips. For drivers who are online or on an active trip, and for riders during an active ride, location data is collected in the background, even when the app is closed or not in use, to keep trips accurate and safe.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide rides, process payments, communicate with you, improve the app, ensure safety, and comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Your Information
We may share information with drivers and riders (for ride fulfilment, including a driver's real-time location with riders during matching and active trips), payment processors, and service providers. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your account information while your Keke Ride account is active. Trip and location data related to completed rides is retained for up to 24 months for safety, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Payment records may be kept longer where required by law.
You can delete your account at any time in the Keke Ride app (Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page. After you request deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
